Update on Chelsi from her mom:
“They just took the drain out from her incision. She is doing good other than running a slight temp. They are testing to see if she has an infection or if it’s just pressure causing it. We need prayers she does not have or get an infection. That is the main thing that could go wrong right now. Finally they are letting her rest more. She is mostly sleeping but does recognize us. I had stepped out of the room this morning and when she woke up she was looking for me. That’s a good sign. I love you all & thank you for your prayers, messages and heartfelt support. It truly gives me and her family comfort. We know God brought Chelsi to the best hospital in NY for this type of trauma as we did not get to choose. We know He understands the pain of watching your child suffer as He gave us a Jesus on the cross. I have never felt as close to God as I have this week. Parents in sync. God has a great plan for Chelsi and we trust Him completely.
