“After spending close to a week at home, Doug and Lyn have returned to Houston today. His doctor feels he is strong enough to proceed with his treatment. He’s receiving intravenous immunotherapy drugs and a targeted therapy drug. The strength of the targeted one has been reduced. Doug is still weak, but is certainly stronger than when he left the hospital last week. “Specifically, please pray for minimal side effects. Please pray for strength and against nausea. Please pray for rest for him, as he is not sleeping much. And please pray rest, peace, and strength for Lyn.
“We are grateful for the prayers of our family, of our friends, and of our brothers and sisters in Christ.“Grace and peace,Jonathan”

Dear Doug and Lyn,
You both are in our prayers as you start your treatments again Doug. I know the toll this takes on your body, mind and spirit, but if there is any thing we know for sure, it is that God is faithful to those who love Him and those of us who love you know of your deep love and faithfulness to the Lord! We will pray for the strength you need to keep fighting and for the rest your body needs to be able to fight! And you, also, sweet Lyn! You are both so dearly loved!!❤️
Doug and Lynn, Brenda and I want you to know that you’re in our prayers every day. We are grateful for your walk with the Lord. Please know that we love you and have asked our heavenly father to extend his healing hand to care for you Doug.
My our love be with you and we will keep you in our prayers. God’s love is strong and you can lean on him.
