On this day 6 years ago I was at Covenant Children’s Hospital. 7 year old Marco Lomeli had been fighting a brain tumor and was on life support. He was the first child we ever worked with in the ministry. I had been visiting with his daddy about turning off life support. This is a decision we hope will never fall on our plates. As it turned out, Marco passed just a while before they turned off the vent. Praise God the family didn’t have to make the decision!

Little did I know how my short time spent with Marco and his family, would change my view of the ministry! What wonderful people!
