On my last trip to Dallas I was made aware that Shamie’s liver is failing. A couple of days ago Shamie nodded, to Ben, that she wanted the ventilator removed, even with the understanding that she might not be able to sustain herself without it. Just a little after 10:30 AM, on Monday, they removed the breathing tube. She struggled for several hours but has now managed to start breathing much better! The doctor wants to watch her for a few days before deciding whether she can be transported home and put in Hospice care. Please continue praying for Shamie and her family!
