Hopefully this update will straighten out some mistakes posted earlier!
Mom had a CT Scan a few days ago. She has a compression fracture in her spine. It is causing extreme pain for her. My sister, Janelle, has stayed in Lubbock to care for mom and allowed me to get back to work. Thank you, Nellie!
They have gotten mom on some better pain meds and she is able to rest more. This is going to be a lengthy recovery process! We’ve also had to scale up her care level. The nurses are checking on her more and also transferring her from wheelchair to final destinations! The doctor wants her to rest laying down and says as long as she will continue to walk she should recover completely.
