Update from Tiffany:
“We woke up to Brynn having a really bad headache. We made a call to the doctor because of last time she needed a blood transfusion and went in for labs. Normal hemoglobins for a child is 12,000 to 14,000. Yesterday her hemoglobin was at 9,000. Today it was 8,400. It has to be in the low 7,000s in order to get a blood transfusion so they sent us home. It’s a waiting game she will either get better or we will need to go in sometime in the next couple days for a blood transfusion. Honestly, I’m grateful that God has given us the ability to know when we need to jump. I don’t do well with surprises so it makes it hard on a mama. I want her to feel better so if she needs a blood transfusion let’s do it and not wait but they can’t until she’s in the low 7,000s.
To top it all off, this Microsoft update mess up has brought down some of the UMC programs and when we need her narcotic pain med, the only thing they will allow us to give her, we can’t get it because it has to be put in the computer. We have maybe two doses left. I hate that we can’t even walk across to the pharmacy to get it because everything is on the computer nowadays.
Please pray specifically that she starts feeling better soon whether it be her levels coming back up or a blood transfusion. It’s not fun to see your kids struggle.
We left and got to meet Dad at Pedro’s tamales to eat lunch. I don’t think tamales will ever get old for her lol.”
Please continue prayers for this sweet child!
