Update on Miss Avery from her uncle Travis:
“Got an update off the the last few days for Avery. In the course of testing to get on the liver transplant list they discovered there is a spot on her heart that requires immediate attention. So she is having a heart surgery this weekend. The doctors say the success rate is very high for the heart surgery and it shouldn’t affect her getting on the liver transplant list. In the words of the doctor referring to precedent “we are writing the book as we go at this point”. So they are going to probably not going to be able to come home until everything is fixed which will be quite a while. And they are just taking it one day at a time.”
