“Dad is struggling with some Chemo issues (pain in left hip, leg and
toes), but he is still hanging in there. On Monday, he will begin his
final round of Chemo. With stage 4 liver cancer, he was supposed to be
showing signs by now (yellowing of eyes, loss of appetite, pain in
liver area, etc), but thus far, nothing is showing up and he still
looks great. Praying he can defy the odds, but he’s ready to go home
anytime and doesn’t worry about it. His major concern is wanting to be

Speaking of Jane, they moved Mom to Parks (Room 414). We are trying to

congregation, it’s tough on the families when you can’t be with them,
hold their hand, and provide comfort in person. Phone calls are great,
but it’s hard to replicate that human touch and simple proximity.
Our family appreciates all the prayers and cards. “
