We spoke with the surgeon first thing this morning. Mom is scheduled first thing in the morning barring any emergencies. She is very thankful for all the sweet messages and prayers! We are also! The typical break in this area is on the outside of the femur. Mom’s is on the inside which means he has to work around the major artery. This complicates the surgery but is the only way she will be able to walk again.
