“Well mom is doing better…they were able to take her off sedation as of yesterday afternoon…They are waiting for her to wake up enough to respond to the Doctor or nurses commands so they can do some breathing tests…if all goes well they will be able to take the breathing tube out and do some swallow tests in the next day or so…still a long haul ahead but she’s heading the right direction…This old coach is one tough lady…Thanks from the entire Lanier family for all your thoughts and prayers…God answers in his timing but we can tell y’all are bending his ears a little
