More Prayers for Jasper (1-12-22)

“Thank y’all for your continued love and care for us. We came into the clinic Monday to start chemo and jasper’s platelets were too low to begin chemo. They postponed till today. Jasper started feeling poorly on Monday night and got tested in the clinic today. Jasper has Covid. I’m sure we all do, actually, since we’ve all had similar symptoms. We are in the clinic getting a bolus of fluids and then rocephin. He will get the regeneron infusion at 3:30. He feels pretty crummy.  We all feel a little crummy- stuffy/runny nose, sore throat, headache, body aches. Tylenol cold and flu has helped most of us. Jasper can’t take that so he said “I feel like I’ve been run over by a cement truck, then they backed up and ran over me again, then they backed up and ran over me again, then they parked the truck on my corpse” But he managed a tiny grin when he said it.
