SMALL CELEBRATIONS TODAY!
Xray from last night and this morning are showing small improvements.
We are off of the meds that cause clotting and they said that he has better circulation in his leg and thru ECMO machine. Cultures are still coming back negative. Also heart function looks a little bit better, will do echo probably tomorrow.
Removed ART line in left groin to help with blood flow. Got a bath and clean sheets so I bet he feels better. About 11pm we had a scare when his blood pressures plummeted to 40 and alarms going off. Found out ECMO machine had an air bubble so we got the circuit changed out and things are good. Apparently when there is a bubble it kicks off for a min then restarts to prevent bubble from traveling to pt but that was so scary to watch.
PRAISE JESUS! God is good all the time!
He is still obviously on alot of support but overall making some improvements.
