From Jerry’s Wife, Patty:
“I know that many of you are very concerned and worried about Jerry. I am getting a lot of calls and messages from y’all so I’m gonna try to update everyone.
Jerry is back in the hospital. We brought him to the ER because he was declining at home. He couldn’t eat anything and was starting to drink only water. He lost about 60 pounds in one month.
Things were getting to a point where I was unable to help him.
He had an MRI yesterday evening and everything was normal. He is having his stents removed today and will be evaluated by Speech Therapy later this morning to check his ability to swallow.
He is in good spirits and slept very well last night for the first time in weeks.
I also was able to sleep well for the first time in weeks.
I love all of you so very much for all that you have done and continue to do for Jerry and me. Your support and love means so much to both of us!”
