AJ Update 5/14 – from Mom
AJ is on the lowest settings possible on the vent.. He was on cpap all night long with no alarms and no apnea spells.They started him on steroids to strengthen his throat and lungs. They will stop his feeds at 4am, and 6 hours after, extubate! It's all gonna depend on...
5/10 AJ Update
From Chelsea We got his hair washed and combed all the glue out, now mommy snuggles...He's finally opening his eyes again they don't look exactly like they did before but it's progress and I'll take it... We will attempt to wein off vent today just pray he does well...

This from Chelsea at around 2 pm: Dr came in last night and said there is clotting in the brain..they would normally give blood thinners but considering his brain is bleeding that isn't an option at this time... a special neuro team will be in mid afternoon to talk to...
