12/10 After a spinal tap & cerebral angiogram Verna was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm She is headed to Lubbock as we speak to go get a second opinion & possibly emergency surgery. Pray for answers, comfort & strength for her as she’s so scared.
12/11 Ok so they are taking Verna L Melot back now to surgery to take care of the big aneurysm and possibly the other one at the same. The spinal tap was clear there was no signs of bleeding. But there is possibly a 3rd one. Hoping it’s an image error. If not there’s a possibility they will have to cut her head open to get to it instead of going thru the main vein to fix it like the other 2. But that one might be after Christmas. Please keep her & the drs & team in your prayers. She’s aware of all the prayers & appreciates them more than you know.
