This is my happy face! I am on my way to a vacation that I’ve needed for some time. In the planning for almost a year, Sam and I have talked about this fishing trip! We were originally headed to Lac La Croix and Zupp’s fishing lodge. The fires in Minnesota caused a change of plans and now I’m headed to Rainey Lake, Quebec, Canada. Sam drove up last week with the boat and I’m headed to Dallas to catch a plane for International Falls, Minnesota in the morning.
I will have limited cell service once I’m there but have others that will cover for me in the event of a ministry need. Thanks to them and the folks keeping an eye on my place at lake Ivie!
Seeing this part of God’s creation first hand and chasing small mouth bass is going to be so refreshing.
