Things are not looking good.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kylie is getting worse while we are all joined together fasting and praying for healing for each other.
Satan is angry and working.
But my God has the last say!
Kylie has been in the TiCU but is being moved back to the PICU.
When they did the biopsy they found adenovirus again… 22 MILLION!
Adenovirus is what our team believes is what caused the rejection.
Now, they believe the amount of steroids Kylie’s lungs need caused the adenovirus to flare back up.
So now she will be receiving a drug that can be very hard on her other organs to try to treat the adenovirus.
Her blood gases have not been good. Her CO2 is very high and her volume is already maxed out on the ventilator. So they wanted to give another bolus of steroids to help but now we can’t do that because of the adenovirus.
The Transplant team has asked to talk to me and my husband face to face. Something they have never done.
It’s a lot. And it’s not good.
However, I refuse to accept that this is it.
God is STILL working!
