The antibodies came back at around 2000 left in her blood stream but they are very weak!
That’s the first time in a year that the antibodies have not been extremely strong.
We will be starting the transplant evaluation phase in about two weeks! With her antibodies low, she has a better chance of being considered a candidate.
After talking to our head transplant doctor, they don’t love the idea of Kylie remaining admitted while we wait for transplant.
They have more faith in me than I do in myself.
I definitely want her home with us but I’m nervous that she will have another episode.
Also, I’m not sure how to take this but our team wants to get the palliative care team involved. I know it’s protocol but it makes me nervous.
Overall, I am extremely grateful that the antibodies have weakened. So happy. Unfortunately they don’t think her lungs will improve because it seems there has been too much damage done already.
