Y’all, let me tell you something… Kylie was a handful yesterday
She definitely made up for lost time and got her full personality back.
She decided that this chest tube was not going to stop her from making the nurse sweat. She was all over the place. Pulling at lines and laughing. She was a wild child. I’m so happy to see the epidural was working and she wasn’t in any pain yesterday.
She got so wild though that they had to order two doses of sedatives to calm her down because she just wanted to go crazy and play hard.
We were all so worried that she would pull the chest tube out or hurt herself.
I love this spunky, feisty little girl.
They are going to try to start weening off the ventilator today to see how she handles it.
The meeting didn’t happen yesterday… I waited all day for the team to come by and they never did.
They did request to do a bronchoscopy today. So Kylie will be sedated for that and they will do that sometime today.
I’m hoping to talk to the team today and see if they have any results back yet. I’m anxiously waiting but praying so hard.
I want so badly for this to be something small and shock everyone, so we can go home and I can see my other babies. I miss them so much.
God has done it before and He can do it again.
Please pray for Kylie and that we get good news today.
We love you all so much!
