Steve is finally home from a very long journey that started with a very a horrible vehicle accident and a dim prognosis. His family fought hard when he couldn’t and he joined them as soon as he was able. I truly enjoyed his precious family on visits but when he was fully awake and able to visit, I felt like I had gained a new friend! Even when Steve was in pain, he would find something funny to say. I am blessed to be able to serve folks like the Hayes. His story is still being written as he works to gain strength and return to some semblance of his pre-accident condition.
From his airlift to Lubbock, his move to long term care in Abilene, then on to San Angelo for continued therapy and finally home, I was blessed to make visits and pray with Steve.
Let’s praise God for His blessings and answered prayers. And also, for Steve and family as he is body mends!
