From her mother, Samantha:
“Some may know that Brylee has been having problems with her eye and we have been doing exams and test on and off for what we thought was just a weak eye muscle since October 2024. Wednesday she had an MRI done in Jackson and then shortly after we were told we needed to get her to Vanderbilt in Nashville as soon as we could. They told us that she has a tumor on her brain stem and after another MRI and more specialist looking into it. Because of where it’s at it is not removable and me and Clayton talked to the specialists and they gave us all our options of the different steps we could take for her. As of now she will be having a port put in and have chemo every Tuesday for the next 15 months. They will do periodic MRIs through the treatment to see how the tumor is responding. The main goal is that it shrinks and stops growing as of now. we appreciate everyone and all the prayers during this time and know that with all the support and God we will make it through this.”
