7 treatments down and 17 to go. Brynn is truly a rockstar with sitting still. Honestly, my anxiety would be all over the place if I had this thing on my face. She has started getting a little tired afterwards and she started smelling chlorine really bad recently. Dr. Mangona said that it is because the radiation passes nerves (like optic and “sense of smell”) and it’s crossing her “sense of smell” nerve I guess tricking her into thinking it.
I’m thankful she is doing so well. People really gravitate to her. She really has had to grow up with all of this. I’m the grateful it’s been a positive one for her even with this being hard to swallow.
Please continue to pray for her. I pray everyday that this stupid tumor is gone and never comes back. Also, pray for her hormones. We are not sure what they will look like when finished.
