Gage’s Update on Veronica 9/4:
“She has been improving every day mentally and physically. We are slowly working on moving around out of the bed. Please pray for her to stay strong when her body is fighting her rehab. CPR recovery is a formidable adversary when paired with her extreme asthma. Rehabilitation is our focus now. We are trying to plan for those facilities and insurance / work related things now. Let the paperwork begin… haha.
Thank you so much to all our friends and family who have been here for us during this time of fear and uncertainty. Close by and far away you all have helped us so much. It has been such a blessing that our families close by have been able to help us with our children and keep things as happy and normal as possible for them while we are away. Our boys have such amazing faith. I am so proud of them!
We know that the only reason she still is here today is by the power of God. I was told that there was nothing good on the initial brain scan. I was told not to be too optimistic, by two doctors, after she was without oxygen for 10 minutes on the ambulance ride. Human ability and technology count for some, but the glory is God’s for doing the medically impossible. I cannot describe how thankful I am!”
