Well, we received some not great news yesterday.
Remember how our team thought we may have tested too early for the antibodies and wanted to do a retest?
Well, the retest results came back showing over 10,000 of that specific antibody and a few others… and it is still VERY strong.
So, they want to keep Kylie admitted and do the next dose of the treatment on Tuesday. Then we will wait another week and do it one more time.
They don’t want to do it more than four times total (Tuesday will be our third time).
We REALLY need this treatment to work!
Even to get listed for another transplant Kylie can’t have these
antibodies. It’s very important this treatment works!
My poor baby will spend another Easter in the hospital. I know it’s the best place for her right now but it still hurts my heart for her
We are going to make the best of it and continue to spend time together as a family. I absolutely love having all of us together
