Update on Kylie:
Kylie was able to get O.R time yesterday. I’m so glad they could squeeze her in so we can get some answers.
She had a bronchoscopy and they were able to get a good lung tissue sample to send off for biopsy.
This is a good sign that we caught the rejection early.
Kylie is still throwing up mucus a lot (not feeds). The transplant team thinks it may be related to rejection but we will not know for sure until we get the biopsy results.
Her pulmonologist put a rush on the biopsy results so he is hoping to have the results by tomorrow (Friday).
These results are EXTREMELY important. This will tell us if she is in rejection, what type of rejection and how bad the rejection is.
I am on my way to Texas and over half way there.
Please pray that Kylie will have good results tomorrow and for God to give McKenzie some peace and know she is loved.
I’m believing and praising God in advance for allowing these results to come back completely free of any rejection or antibodies.
