“Well, it looks like Kylie will be admitted the week after Thanksgiving at Children’s National in DC for the chemo drug treatment. (We are still waiting on the exact date.)
Kylie has not been feeling well the past 24 hours and has been vomiting. I am praying that it is something we can handle at home and that Kylie will not need to go to the hospital.
Respiratory season is such a scary time for any immune compromise person and any virus can push Kylie farther into rejection.
This time last year, Kylie contracted adenovirus and that virus is what our team believes caused her to go into rejection.
Please say a prayer that Kylie starts to feel better.
Being admitted around the holidays is such a sad thing to go through. Kylie has never been home for Christmas and this will be her third Christmas this year so we have lived through it a few times.
My heart hurts for the children and siblings that are admitted around the holidays.”
This precious child of God has been through so much since birth! And, she is not the only challenge this family is going though. There is much I haven’t shared due to privacy.
