Update on Kylie:
We have received some not so great news… Kylie had her bronchoscopy on Monday, her ENT team at Texas Children’s hospital joined in on the procedure. They wanted to look and see how her airways looked so we could decannulate soon.
Kylie’s airways do not look good. (Her new lungs look amazing!)
When they took out the trach during the procedure to get a good look, her airways collapsed both sideways and from top and bottom. 
The hope was they would become stronger after transplant and as she grew.
They are going to try to give her another 6 months but if the airways don’t improve then Kylie will need a full airway reconstruction surgery.
They believe she will need this regardless but time will tell just how much reconstruction she will need.
Kylie has already been through so much that it breaks my heart for her to undergo another big surgery and long hospital stay again.
Please pray that God works another miracle and heals Kylie’s airways.
Also, please pray for the biopsy results to come back negative for rejection. (We should have the results any day now)
