I met Jerry through kayak fishing friends several years ago. He has a big heart for fly fishing (mostly from a kayak) and teaching others to do the same. As long as I have known him, he has been about helping other people.
Here is a post shared by his daughter, Tish:
“This is my dad, who had surgery on December 5th to remove his bladder, prostate and lymph nodes due to soft tissue sarcoma in his bladder. 2 days after his surgery his vitals started crashing and they had the rapid response team in there taking care of him. He went home from the hospital on Dec. 11th, his 70th birthday.
He just called me because he is not getting better. He can not chew or swallow still and the smell of food makes him nauseous. He has an appointment with his doctor on Thursday. My mom is on extended family medical leave from her work and will return on the 15th. She is not sleeping and is not eating (because my dad can’t eat and she can’t cook at home because it makes my dad sick). She has a doctor’s appointment tomorrow for herself. “
Prayer Warriors,
Please join me in storming the Heavens for Jerry and his family!
Blessings,
Lonnie
