“Good news: We only had to spend one night and part of a day in ICU and the neurotoxicity cleared up!
Not so good news: Now he has a virus. It’s pretty common & 1 of several that are going around; it’s producing a lot of drainage and mucus that he will just have to cough up and let the virus run its course. The coughing hurts his cracked rib (from the lung surgery)and makes the chest tube that much more uncomfortable but other than that, he is feeling ok. We are hoping the chest tube will come out this evening. His ANC is very low so that might possibly keep us in the hospital even longer.Please pray for his lung to continue to heal, for the virus to clear quickly, & his counts to rise.Thank you for praying!Jesus is King!”
