From Jody about Jasper:
We had a short but needed weekend at home before coming back to Lubbock Monday for the next round of chemo. Because this cancer is aggressive, the doctors must treat it aggressively. That means we must stay on schedule for chemo as much as possible. The series of circumstances after his first round resulted in Jasper being very sick but the doctors were pleased at how quickly he recovered. So far Jasper has felt well. We are thankful for the oncology pharmacist, Mitzi, who has done some research and found some things for us to try in hopes of preventing the neurotoxicity. “Every kid is different and every round of chemo is different” so there is no way to know for sure what will happen each round. We are planning on being able to go home Christmas morning. Please pray with us to be home Saturday, that he will not have neurotoxicity, & that things might go smoother all the way around than last time. He is working on a thank you note for the clinic staff who blessed him with some awesome Christmas gifts while watching “The Good Doctor”.Jesus is King.“I will sing of the steadfast love of the Lord, forever; with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.”Psalm 89:1
