Doug and Lyn returned to Houston this week. There’s not much news coming out of it, but we wanted to update everyone since it’s been a number of weeks. Doug saw his oncologist at MD Anderson and the doctor was pleased with the results of his bloodwork. He was also pleased that Doug is tolerating the new treatment so well with no bad side effects. I’ve known Doug now for 20 years and I was selfishly hoping that this new treatment would cure his snoring, but here we are. He will return to Houston mid-July for a CT scan and MRI and get those results. We are praying that the doctors will be amazed by these reports. I’m reminded of the words from the psalmist, “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”
