Anderson Cade Elkins is 7 months old. His parents are Preston and Tylar Jo Elkins. Anderson has a lymphatic malformation right above his right knee. This morning they performed a procedure called sclarotherapy, which is where they put him under anesthesia and inject medicine into the tumor. This should shrink it and turn it to scar tissue. The surgeon was very pleased with how everything went. They will follow up with an ultrasound or MRI in about a month to see if it got everything or id they will need to do a second round of the medicine.
