“At 2:30 this morning Kaleb suddenly came back to himself! He was doing a breathing treatment and he kept yawning and the face mask was sliding up his face – and I would get up and fix it and lay down and he would yawn again before I could get the blanket over me – he did this like 5 times — and then he started laughing!!! First time in a month. And he was suddenly himself! I felt like dancing for joy right here in the hospital! He asked me to scratch his “soul patch” and I said you mean where it used to be and he said “is it shaved off??” And then he said “I think I remember that.” Then I asked if I could take a picture of him smiling and then he said “is there some way to brush my teeth?” He then started asking about how everyone was. I am elated😁 And he is breathing room air❤️”
