I was able to go see Doree today. She is still in UMC Pediatric ICU. The swelling in her brain seems to be shrinking. As she becomes more aware she is struggling with the ventilator and having to be bound. As a parent, or grandparent, this is very difficult to watch! They are watching for infection and when they feel it is safe, they will take her back to surgery and put the bone flap back in.
