“Daniel has continued to be in good spirits. It truly is incredible and a mercy of God! He is such a joy to talk to and is being so strong. The doctors expect the effects of the chemo and radiation to start catching up with him by around day 7. So continue to cover him in prayers as they have been told there are rough days ahead.
Ray and Ashly were blessed to have some time together for one night while Granvie (Virginia) stayed with Daniel. Ray and Landon were with Daniel today while Ashly and Mackenzie enjoyed some one-on-one time. Over all, there have been many answered prayers.
Daniel’s eating has slowed down. Today he received more platelets but he was expected to need them by Friday (day after transplant). His numbers have held so well they were able to hold off until now.
We won’t know if his body has adopted the new marrow as his own until around day 20 so there is still a long road ahead. Please pray for the next week as the effects of chemo and radiation become more prevalent.”
Daniel is a fighter and we need to continue to lift him up to the Father!
Blessings,
Lonnie
