8/30 Update – Joe Conn

I was able to visit with Joe’s daughter, Bethany this evening.

Joe has been released from the hospital back into therapy care. His color is better and he was actually popping off some jokes!

On a more serious note, Joe desperately needs to have bypass surgery as soon as possible, but he has to be strong enough to handle the surgery. He needs to be doing therapy but has a hard time being motivated to do so. It could be dementia complicating the whole process but that hasn’t been determined yet either.

I’ve seen similar situations before and know that the whole process can be overwhelming to the main caregiver as well as extended family.

Please join me in lifting Joe up in prayer for healing, as well as Bethany, as she navigates many decisions for her dad. And also, juggling being a caregiver along with being a wife and mother!

These folks need our prayers for the Father to intervene and breathe some healing and peace into this whole situation!
