Tuesday Update:
Today was “Good Day #3”! Three days in a row where the numbers continue to be good and even getting better. The left chest tube was removed today, so one less tube. Yay! Steve has been awake and alert and is communicating the best he can. (I’m not a good lip-reader or charades champion so I’m sure this is incredibly frustrating to him.) He’s been able to FaceTime with the girls the last two nights; that’s been fun to watch.
Please continue to pray for (1) strengthening of his lungs to facilitate weaning from the vent, (2) continued healing and restoration, (3) dissolution of blood clots, (4) decrease in swelling and excess fluid, (5) peace, strength and rest, (6) no fear, anxiety, or frustration.
