For the most part, Kylie had a good weekend.
If you follow my personal page then you might have seen my updates on my story over the weekend.
Kylie started the plasma treatment. This treatment takes all of her antibodies out of her body (the good and bad). She completed two treatments over the weekend.
She also got a medication that is mostly used for chemotherapy. The medication completely wipes out any remaining antibodies. It can be hard on the body.
She will be taking a break today from the treatment to give her body time to rest.
Yesterday her X-ray showed that her pneumothorax (collapsed lung) got worse.
They will do another X-ray this morning.
Once the pneumothorax improves then she can come off the ventilator and have the chest tube removed.
Please pray that the X-ray looks better today. I want to hold Kylie so bad but with her chest tube, it’s too painful for her.
Today, is McKenzie’s birthday and we are going to try to make the best of it.
