“FRIDAY UPDATE: This has truly been an up and down, rollercoaster kind of week. Two steps forward, and then one step (or three steps) back. Yesterday was the best day “numbers-wise” he’s had since he’s been here. This is Day 14 of this journey and Steve had surgery this morning to put in a trach to give him more time to strengthen his lungs and wean him off the ventilator. His numbers continue to be good but the lungs still have some issues. Prayers needed specifically for his lungs, no pneumonia, no infection, and strengthening. As he begins to awaken and become more alert (now that the surgeries are behind him), please pray for his peace and strength, no anxiety and no fear, no trauma, for miraculous healing and recovery, and none of the crazy pain that certainly could be associated with the injuries and surgeries he’s experienced. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and your love.”
