Update on Kylie:

So, it looks like we will be leaving sometime next week.
We still don’t have an exact date yet but our transplant team is working hard to schedule the surgeon, specialists etc.

Our pulmonologist said the longest he is willing to wait is the end of next week. So hopefully everything can get coordinated quickly.

We do know they want to start her on one course of treatment as soon as we arrive called rituximab infusion and, depending on what they see when they open her up, she could potentially start plasmapheresis.

There are multiple types of rejection; acute, chronic and antibody-mediated rejection. From what I am told the antibody rejection is the worst one and the one they are worried that Kylie may have. (In Jesus Name, she does not.)

Depending on the severity we may have to stay in Houston for treatment for a while. If it’s not too progressed then she could possibly do treatments at Children’s National in DC.

I am trusting God for a miracle and that we get down there and they find nothing! He has done it before and He can do it again.

Thank y’all for all the love and support! I’m overwhelmed with love and gratitude for each of you. Thank you for everything!

Please pray for Kylie
