Kylie has been doing really well.
She is not requiring any oxygen during the day!
God is good!
She does still require oxygen while sleeping but I’m happy with her progress.
I’m telling myself that is a sign the treatment is working.
However, our team believes it’s too early to tell.
But I know God can do anything!
Next week, she will get the next dose of the treatment then we will run some tests to see if it is working.
Remember, this is our last hope of slowing down the rejection and pushing the next transplant out a little farther.
WE NEED THIS TO WORK.
We are currently waiting on oxygen equipment and other medical supplies before being discharged. When we came down to Texas it was with the thought we would only be here maybe two weeks then we were asked to stay multiple months, so we did not bring anything for a long term stay.
It’s so hard to get out of state insurance to pay for anything, so anything not covered will have to be paid for out of pocket. We can’t switch over to Texas Medicaid until we have a Texas address. – per social worker)
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and helped purchase items on the wishlist to help us with our long term stay until everything is moved down here from Virginia (hopefully within a month).
I can’t wait till my family is all together again. I miss my other babies so much. I feel like I’m missing out on so much, another thing that confirms this move to Texas is best for our family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your generosity and support during this time. It’s so difficult to leave somewhere I have lived my whole life where all my family and friends are but you all have made it easier and I am so thankful for each of you.
We love you all so much and I thank God for y’all everyday.
