Update on Brynn from Tiffany:
“Some days she still just needs rest. We are truly grateful she is doing so well. John and I were reminded last night how things could have been very different for her and still can. We ask for continued prayers for her as she works through the lasting effects and continued healing from this dreadful brain tumor.
Honestly, she is doing so well. She’s back to running and playing like she was. Her hair is coming back a different color and growing so fast. She’s ready for it to be longer. She does have a second MRI scheduled for March 28th at 8am. After we find out the results, if it is a clear scan (she has to have 2) they will want to start her on growth hormones until she is about 16. (That’s right, 6 1/2 years). They will be 6 days a week by way of a shot. I have talked to patients that have had GH before and they felt really good on them, which gives me comfort.
Please pray that the GHs will NOT have any side effects and she can continue being a kid. Her endocrinologist is worried she might have headaches with it, so we are praying against that! Thank you all that have continued to ask about her, my boys and just have downright not stopped praying for us. We feel them.”
