Kylie will be receiving her monthly IVIG tomorrow morning. This usually takes about 6 hours.
Next week Kylie will be going in for one of the chemotherapy drugs to help stop her rejection from progressing.
Our team has warned us that this drug can have a neurological side effect on someone Kylie’s age, it is rare but they have seen it happen before.
Kylie has received this medication once before in Texas and it made her really sick.
Please pray that she responds well to the medication.
The chemotherapy drug that Kylie needs to be admitted to the ICU for has not been scheduled yet. I requested that it be done before Christmas so we are all home together for the holidays. Hopefully I will find out more this week.
The day after Christmas we have to travel back to Texas to meet with Kylie’s transplant team to see how Kylie is responding to the treatments.
Please pray that tomorrow goes well and Kylie has no negative side effects.
Some have messaged asking for an address to send cards to. You can find address, Christmas wishlist etc at the link below.
As always we love you all so much.
