Meet Adaliyah
“She was born prematurely at 26 weeks weighing 1lb and 14oz . When she was about 2 months old they discovered she has pulmonary valve stenosis and chronic lung disease so she was transported to Cooks Children’s hospital, in Fort Worth, to get a balloon valvuloplasty. It took her about 2 weeks to get off the ventilator. They did some genetic tested and she was diagnosed with Noonan syndrome type PTPN11. She’s been having trouble coming down on her oxygen and they ran some more tests on her and found out her pulmonary valve is just getting worse so she will have open heart surgery on Monday, February 3rd. She also has Oral Aversion, and if they can’t get that under control she will be needing a Gastric Feeding Tube. Adaliyah will be 5 months old on February 5th. As of today, she’s been in the Nicu for a total of 148 days!
This little sweetheart and her family need lots of prayers and encouragement!
