Update on Gloria from Kim, her daughter:
We got up to see Gloria Davis this morning and she was looking better in complexion. She had a little episode durning the night. Her heart rate increased (but the good news she self corrected without help from medicine) lasted a minute or two. Doctor only wanted her to go from the bed to chair again today since she had that episode. Sandy and I stayed till about 9:30 or so this morning. I went back up to the hospital. about 1:30 and visited until 4:15. And mom was in the chair. We giggled a lot. I don’t want to make her laugh to hard so just enough entertainment from me for giggles.
They have been lowering her oxygen and it is down to 1 now. They will are hoping to take her off that later tonight or tomorrow. They are hoping to remove some more things tomorrow as well. She was in good spirits and just TIRED. SO TIRED!! but she is such a trooper. They are proud she doesn’t need a lot of assistance just going from bed to chair. Everyone is excited and praying that she can get some steps in tomorrow.
Continue prayers for recovery and her strength. We will be back in the morning and I will do another update tomorrow evening.
This is a pic I took of mom that she wanted me to send to her hubby Walt. She tries to smile but you can see the drugs and tiredness kicking her bootie.
One last note. The doctor told her “you have a kind spirit and amazing personality and even while you are in pain you are thinking of others”
