Kylie has been admitted for almost five days now.
It was scary at the beginning of the week. She was struggling to breath on her own and then she tested positive for adenovirus.
Yes, the same virus that pushed Kylie into AMR rejection. I was so sad when we got the news.
For some adenovirus is no big deal but for others it can be life changing.
After a few days of needing oxygen and Texas children’s doing everything they can to get her better, she is finally on the mend.
She is only requiring help breathing while she is sleeping.
We are waiting on test results to see how much adenovirus is in Kylie’s blood.
We moved forward today with the chemo treatment and she handled that very well.
