I had the privilege of meeting Dennis on Tuesday. Dennis is married to a friend (Sherry Commander – Jones) from times past. On Monday Dennis had a brain tumor removed and when I got there Tuesday he was sitting up and looking good! He was at Houston Methodist but has since been released to a hotel room. They will be there a few more days and possibly be able to return to Odessa before the holidays are over. Please add Dennis to your prayer list. He was a joy to meet and shares my love for humor. When Sherry took our picture, I told him I was jealous that I didn’t have a bandage on my nose like him – thus the picture!!!
